Physical Therapy pricing and what to expect ..
At Shiva Physical Therapy, we’ve chosen to be a fee-for-service facility, which means we don’t accept insurance for our physical therapy services. We firmly believe that insurance companies should never dictate patient care. Our primary focus is providing exceptional care to each and every one of our patients.
By embracing an out-of-network status with most insurance plans, we can maintain our commitment to personalized, innovative treatment without the constraints of third-party interference. Unlike traditional clinics, we don’t directly bill or negotiate with insurance companies. Instead, we follow a direct-pay model, allowing us to prioritize your individual needs and preferences, free from insurance reviews, network restrictions, or visit limits.
To make your experience seamless, we offer detailed receipts, also known as superbills. You can easily submit these to your insurance for possible reimbursement, ensuring your convenience while still benefiting from our exceptional care.
Please note that while we cannot accept patients planning to bill Medicare for physical therapy services, we are more than happy to welcome Medicare recipients for wellness visits and other services that may not typically be reimbursed through Medicare.

We do not accept insurance; however, Shiva Physical Therapy can provide you with an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement . Shiva Physical Therapy fees are well below our competitors to accommodate our self-pay and out-of-network patients.

When you see a cash-based physical therapist, you are taking the power of authority back into your own hands and out of the hands of the insurance companies. You set your goals, and no one can tell you how much they are worth for you.
When you see a cash-based physical therapist, you will likely get more time with your therapist per dollar than through insurance.
The Choice is Yours
Don’t get us wrong, some fantastic therapists work in insurance-based clinics, and some of you reading this have insurance plans that would make sense for you to find and visit those therapists in those clinics.
But for the majority of you, cash-based providers are likely the way to go if you want to be unwavering in the goals that matter to you. It comes down to what you value as an individual.
We realize that the concept is scary for some. Believe us, the decision for us to become cash-based is not one that we take lightly. However, our decision to pass up on insurance contracts means leaving the convenience of a revolving door of patients in the name of pursuing value-based treatment for our clientele.
At Shiva Physical Therapy, we want to provide care to our patients that are not dictated by billion-dollar insurance companies. Our goal as a clinic is to give back the individuals control of their health. Our care should be your new standard of what physical therapy should be. Giving exclusive individual attention in a safe and caring environment to our patients should be expected.
For $175 you are one on one with a therapist for up to 60min, No PTA’s, NO techs.
Shiva Physical Therapy will also provide you with a Good Faith Estimate so you have a clear idea of how many visits will be needing and how much it will cost you even before you start your treatment.
Cancellations should be made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment. If a cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours’ notice, and the appointment cannot be filled, the patient will be billed the schedule fee.
Please comfortable clothing that can help your therapist has accesses to the treatment area easily or you can bring shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes to your session.
